Designing Intervention Systems with Empathy

SLI (Summer Leadership Institute) is geared toward instructional leaders and teacher leaders. The purpose is to support strong instructional practice and introduce ways that leaders can support and encourage educators’ implementation of Bridges. This year, SLI will focus on asset-based teaching and learning—for all students. There will be sessions focused on supporting multilingual learners, intervention, horizontal enrichment, and productively adapting curriculum, as well as multiple ways to support educators using Bridges in their classrooms. 

ILC (Intervention Leadership Conference) is geared more toward those who support intervention. This might mean folks who provide direct intervention services to students, as well as those who coordinate intervention at a school or district level. Rather than a series of sessions, this is designed as an interactive workshop.

Unfortunately, we do not. The ILC is structured more like a two-day interactive workshop than a conference with a series of sessions that we can run virtually. 

If you do not have a webstore account:

1. Select “Log In” on the MLC Webstore.
2. Select “Create an account.”
3. If you are using a district purchase order or district credit card, or using your own funds but will be reimbursed by your district, select “District.” If you are using a school purchase order or school credit card, or using your own funds but will be reimbursed by your school, select “School.”
4. Please input your work email on the next screen. You will be asked to select the name of your institution from the list. If you selected “District,” please select your district. If you selected “School,” please select your school. 
5. After entering your name and confirming the information, you will be sent an email to create a password. Create your password.
6. After creating your password, you will be logged into the webstore. IMPORTANT: Write your password down and store it; you are only allowed one password reset per 24 hours. Creating an account does count as a password reset. If you log out and forget your password after creating your account, you will have to wait 24 hours before a password reset can be done.
7. Click on your name in the top right corner and select “Profile, Addresses & Account Information.”
8. On the “Profile and Addresses” screen, go to the “Addresses” box and select “New.” This is to add billing and shipping information, which is required to checkout. 
9. Please enter the necessary billing and shipping information in the pop-up window. All fields must have information added to save an address. NOTE: The “Name” field is meant for the name of the address, not your personal name (i.e., “Sample School District” or “Sample Elementary School”).
10. Once you have a billing and shipping address, go to Step 2 of the “If you have a webstore account” instructions below. 

If you have a webstore account:

1. Log into your MLC Webstore account.
2. Add the number of registrations needed for individual registration to the ILC. NOTE: If you are using the two-person registration for the ILC, register only one attendee through the webstore (i.e., please only add one registration if you will have two attendees, add two registrations if you will have four attendees, and so on).Please email the additional attendee information to mlcinfo@mathlearningcenter.org. 
3. Go to your cart and proceed to checkout.
4. Add in each attendee’s name, email, and position title.
5. Follow the checkout instructions on screen for selecting payment type and billing and shipping addresses.
